The compostable to-go container is constructed out of wheat straw grown in Idaho within 20 mile radius of the manufacturing facility. Wheat straw is a renewable resource that doesn't cause deforestation. Since the resource is within a short distance, helps reduce transpiration and emissions impact on the environment. Wheat straw fiber will remain strong and hold wet, heavy foods and is freezer and microwave safe. The container has a waffle-board bottom to keep food fresh and have a double closure to ensure the contents remain safe during transpiration.
